Welcome to Ebony Stitchers Quilt Guild and Society. We are women of color who want to connect with and share our interests in quilting and quilt art with other fiber artists and quilters.
Our goals:
-Sharing the art and tradition of quilting,
-Educating our community about the quilting craft and its many facets,
-Teaching our craft to quilters, art enthusiasts and appreciaters,
-Exhibiting our work
Our symbol is the Adinkra Symbol - Nyame Dua. It is a symbol of God's presence and protection. The Nyame Dua is a sacred spot where rituals are performed. Our art and craft of quilting and the relationships we have with one another through our art and craft are sacred; our place of peace and creativity.
